5The king of the mid range android phones
By Luis Enrique
I already have the HTC ONE V cellphone for a week, its a really great phone, after a lot of searching for an android phone i though this was the best option... here is a little review for the week so far:

Pros:
- Kick ass screen, bright and vivid
- Good photos, fast pictures with good results
- Great design, it looks pretty damn good
- HTC sense 4.0, yeah for me its a pro
- Android 4
- Deep social integration
- 25 GB free dropbox
- Beats audio, its a kick ass audio enhacer
- Fast, everythin goes great, im a average android user and i havent had any freezing problem

Cons:
- Small yellow dots on the corners screen, are small and not really annoying, you only can see them when the screen is all white.
- The speaker doesnt work that well as its supposed to be, i just cant heard the left speaker, i dont know if its a problem of my cellphone.
- It says it comes with 4GB of memory, but it just came with less that 1 GB for the user, so i Strongly recommend you to buy a micro SD

Others things i can add (not pro or cons for me):

- The wifi works fine
- The calls are good and clear
- has a great size for a pocket
- It might get a little warm but nothing serious
- Cant remove battery
- Doesnt come with beats audio earpieces
- Its the asian version i got, so it comes just in english and some other oriental lenguages.
- Has a good battery life, i used to have an Nokia 5130 which last 3 or 4 days without charging, i have to charge the HTC ONE V every 1 - 1.5 days when i give it a lot of use.

I would give it 5 stars and i really want to give it a 5 star review but those cons are a lttle annoying in the other hand, so i think 4 stars is ok... If you are planning to buy this cellphone, YOU MUST DO IT, you wont regret.. for the price i think its the best option

Greetings!

===== UPDATE 1 WEEK LATER ======

Well after one more week with my HTC ONE V, i decided to give it 5 stars now.
- the yellow spots in the screen corner, have almost dissapear, i havent done anything, it just starting to dissapear, now its just a very little white yellow spot that isnt notorious at all.
- The problem with the speaker, i just find out it was with one song i play a lot, so it actually works great, its just the sound enhacer that changes the music sound.

So almost no cons so far, its working great ***** stars this time... 100% recommended

4solid product, good performance
By Alexander Lee
when i got the phone, there was a lot of bloat / regional crapware, but unlocking it got rid of it. even with the regional stuff, it was working fine and smooth. love the phone and it's small size. i feel smartphones these days are getting too big to be comfortable in a pant's front pocket. one thing i didn't like about the grey is that the color of the rubberized areas are a shade off of the grey color of the body. otherwise, solid phone.

4battery and data issue
By NRC344
I've had the ONE V since August. It was a great phone and I was very happy with performance. The issue of battery life was greatly increased by a setting for WIFI. Under WIFI select menu, then advanced. Select the option for WIFI while the phone is in sleep. By turning off WIFI while in sleep, my standby time increased from 1 day to 5 days.

Now to the problem with data. Had great performance with my unlocked phone that was built for China use. AT&T worked great and I had 3G or HSDPA data up to last week. There was an HTC firmware upgrade that disabled WCDMA capability on this phone. I now only have access to GSM and 2G data. AT&T uses WCDMA for 3G and HSDPA. When the data option for GSM plus WCDMA is selected the phone goes dead. HTC said "too bad, we don't support AT&T on an unlocked phone".
